Rules & guidelines
Waterfront, tennis courts, hours, and bylaws
Swimming is permitted only when a lifeguard or designated supervisor is on duty.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at the waterfront at all times.
Life jackets are required for all boaters under 16 and strongly recommended for all.
No motorized boats except approved electric motors. No wake near the swimming area.
Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times on the waterfront.
Glass containers are not permitted on the dock or beach.
Please leave the waterfront cleaner than you found it.
No diving from the dock except at designated areas.
Dogs are not permitted on the beach or dock during swimming hours.
Courts are for members and their accompanied guests only.
Singles play is limited to 1 hour when others are waiting. Doubles limited to 1.5 hours.
Proper tennis shoes required. No bare feet, flip flops, or cleats on court surfaces.
Equipment is available in the clubhouse. Please return all balls and rackets after use.
Courts close at dusk unless lights are available and arranged in advance.
Players waiting take priority over a second set if courts are in demand.
Please report any court damage or maintenance needs to the board.
Waterfront & swimming: Dawn to dusk, mid-June through Labor Day
Lifeguard on duty: Check the posted schedule at the clubhouse
Boating: Sunrise to sunset during the summer season
Tennis courts: Dawn to dusk, year-round
Clubhouse: Open for scheduled events; contact the board for access
Season opens: Mid-June
Season closes: Labor Day weekend
Membership in the Cream Hill Lake Association is open to individuals 18 or older who dwell in Cornwall. Each membership receives one vote at Association meetings. Below are the key articles; full bylaws are available from the Secretary upon request.
Article I — Name: Cream Hill Lake Association, Incorporated
Article II — Objects: Preservation of the natural beauty of Cream Hill Lake; maintenance of a clubhouse; boating, bathing, tennis, and suitable amusement for members
Article III — Membership: Open to Cornwall residents 18 and older; "dwelling in Cornwall" requirement applies; one vote per membership
Membership review: The Executive Committee reviews the membership list yearly and may terminate memberships that do not meet requirements for 24 consecutive months
